You can change the playing feel with the spring tension and the beater weights.
Adjusting the Spring Tension
The spring tension of the KT-10 can be adjusted to two levels of strength. When shipped from the factory, the tension is set to “weak.”
Follow the steps below to change the spring tension to “strong.”
- Lay the KT-10 on its side, loosen the bolt securing the SPRING HOLDER, and remove the holder.
- Remove the hook from spring holder.
- Reverse the spring holder, and then reattach the hook.
- Use the screw to fasten the spring holder.
Adjusting the Beater Weights
By changing the number and position of beater weights, you can adjust the feel of the pedal action.
To prevent the weights from falling out during performance, be sure to secure them using the included hexagonal wrench.
