KTN-GO and KTN-GO2
There are two different external designs for the KATANA:GO corresponding to the period in which they are sold. This manual only features illustrations for one of these designs, but there is no difference in functionality or sound quality between the two. For details, see “About the external design of the KATANA:GO” (BOSS website).

The procedure for reverting the KATANA:GO to its factory state differs depending on the system program version. Please check the current version and follow the steps according to it.
Check the System Program Version
- Turn off the power.
- Hold down the [STAGE FEEL] button and turn the power on.
The current version is displayed.
If the current version is or earlier than 1.01:
- Turn off the power.
- Turn the [POWER] switch “ON” while holding down the [A] button.
A confirmation screen appears. - Press the [A] button.
- When "COMPLETE" is displayed, turn off the power.
If the current version is 1.02 or later*:

- Turn the power off.
- Turn the [POWER] switch “ON” while holding down the [A] button and [
] button.
A confirmation screen appears. - Press the [STAGE FEEL] button.
- When "COMPLETE" is displayed, turn off the power.
NOTE: When you execute a factory reset, all Bluetooth audio and MIDI devices that you have connected thus far can no longer be connected to this unit. To solve this, delete the registrations on the mobile device to which you want to reconnect, and pair them again.
