Follow the steps below:
Saving Data
- Connect the MIDI OUT connector of the DR-202 to the MIDI IN connector of the external MIDI sequencer/USB MIDI interface using a MIDI 5-pin cable.
* You can also use a DAW instead of a MIDI sequencer device. In that case, connect the DR-202 to your computer via a MIDI interface, and set up the MIDI track of DAW to record System Exclusive (SysEx) messages.
* Please note that we do not guarantee operation with all existing external MIDI sequencers and DAWs. You may also use a Roland UM-ONE MKII USB to MIDI 5-PIN adapter interface for USB MIDI connectivity between computer and DR-202.
- Press [MIDI].
The MIDI Mode screen appears in the display. - Press the [>] cursor key so that the MIDI Bulk Damp parameters are displayed.
- Rotate the VALUE dial to select the data to be sent.
- All: Sends all the DR-202's internal settings
- Song Pattern: Sends song and pattern settings
- Kit: Sends kit settings
- Utility MIDI: Sends UTILITY and MIDI settings
- Press [TAP/ENTER]; transmission begins, and the status during transmission is displayed on the screen.
After a few moments, the transmission is completed, and this fact is shown on the screen.
