The KATANA GEN 3 supports Bluetooth when the optional BT-DUAL (Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor) is connected to the Bluetooth Adaptor port on the rear panel.
Two types of Bluetooth connections are available:
- BT-MIDI: Connects to the BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA GEN 3 mobile app, allowing you to edit and back up channel memory patches from your mobile device.
Download "BTS for KATANA GEN 3" for iOS or Android - BT-AUDIO: Wirelessly streams audio from your mobile device through the KATANA GEN 3, allowing you to play along with backing tracks.

Note: The System Program must be updated to the latest version to use Bluetooth features. For instructions, see KATANA GEN 3: System Program Version Update. The update requires a Windows or macOS computer.
