When connecting a KATANA GEN 3 to a Windows or macOS computer via USB and using BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA GEN 3, the following message may appear:
"You are using an older version of Katana 3. Update to the latest version."
If this message appears, the System Program on your amp needs to be updated. For instructions, see KATANA GEN 3: System Program Version Update.
Note:
- All KATANA GEN 3 models (KATANA-50, KATANA-50 EX, KATANA-100, KATANA-100/212, KATANA-HEAD, KATANA-Artist, KATANA-Artist HEAD) share the same System Program, USB drivers, and BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA GEN 3 download.
- BOSS TONE STUDIO for KATANA GEN 3 requires System Program Ver.1.06 or later.
