By switching the [STEREO EXPAND] switch on (found on the rear panel), you can connect two KATANA GEN 3 units for stereo output. This allows you to use stereo effects such as chorus, delay, and reverb across both amplifiers for a wide and immersive sound.
For STEREO EXPAND you will need:
- A second KATANA GEN3 amplifier
- Standard TS instrument cable
- Connect the LINE OUT jack of amp #1 (the amp to which your guitar is connected) to the POWER AMP IN jack of amp #2.
- Turn the [STEREO EXPAND] switch ON for both amps.
None of the knobs on amp #2 respond in this case, except for the [MASTER] knob and the [POWER CONTROL] switch.
