To select patches on the JUNO-DS61, JUNO-DS76, and JUNO-DS88 from a DAW, send CC0 (Bank Select MSB), CC32 (Bank Select LSB), and Program Change (PC) from a MIDI track. Use the values listed in the Patch List of the JUNO-DS Parameter Guide.
Make sure the MIDI channel of the track matches the Patch Rx/Tx Ch setting on the JUNO-DS (System Settings > MIDI). Otherwise, the messages are not received.
As an alternative, some DAW software may provide a patch script file for the JUNO-DS, which lets you select patches more easily by name instead of sending these messages manually. Note that a patch script file is normally provided by the developer of the DAW software, not by Roland. Check with the DAW's support team to see if one is available.
If no patch script file is available, you can create one (.txt) using the Roland Patch Script Builder. For details on using the file in your DAW, contact the support team for that DAW software.
