The Bridge Cast X contains two memory slots (SFX A and SFX B) for importing audio files (sound effects) from a computer. The CONTROL PADS can then be programmed to play back one of these sound effects. The following article guides through this setup.

The following example will import a sound effect into memory slot "SFX A" and assign this to be triggered by CONTROL PAD 1.
- Install both the BRIDGE CAST app and the BRIDGE CAST X driver.
See "Installing the BRIDGE CAST app and driver" in the BRIDGE CAST X Owner's Manual. - Connect the USB port and the computer with the included USB cable (Type-C to Type-C).
- Launch the BRIDGE CAST app.
- Click the "CONTROL PAD" tab on the left panel.
- Click the pad to which you want to assign the sound effect. A blue bar is shown corresponding to the pad you select.
- Click on COMMAND and select "SFX".
- Click on OPTION 1 and select "A".

for OPTION 2.
- Click the [FILE] button.
- In the LOAD SFX FILE dialog box, select the WAV file you wish to register, and then click the [Open] button.
- Click the [WRITE] button and then the [OK] button. The WAV file will be imported to memory slot "SFX A".
- When "Update Complete" appears, click the [OK] button.
- Click
for OPTION 2 and adjust the volume. Click CLOSE when complete.
