Here's how a Liveset that you have saved as a backup can be restored to the MS-3's user patch.
To restore Livesets to your MS-3 you will need
- MS-3 updated with the latest System Program
- MS-3 Editor/Librarian software editor (Windows/Mac)
- USB driver, compatible for your specific computer OS and Version
- USB 2.0 A to B type printer data cable
* When possible, connect directly to your computer's USB 2.0 A port specifically. You may use a USB-C Hub adaptor in order to provide a USB 2.0 A compatible port if not available.
Please make sure to install the system program, editor, and USB drivers in advance. These can be downloaded from the following link: https://www.boss.info/global/products/ms-3/downloads/ For details on how to install, please refer to "Using MS-3 Editor/Librarian".
- Launch the MS-3 Editor/Librarian.
- In the LIBRARIAN section, you can import a .TSL (Tone Studio Librarian) file from your computer. After the .TSL Liveset has been loaded, or if it is already present, click/select the title bar of the Liveset you want to restore.
- At the top of the EDITOR screen, click the [Apply Liveset] button.
The 'Apply Liveset' dialog box appears. - Click the [OK] button.
The selected liveset is written into the MS-3.
