To select Scenes in the GM-800, you will use the standard MIDI protocol for selecting sounds:
- Bank Select MSB (CC00)
- Bank Select LSB (CC32)
- Program Change (PC)
The following messages are used to select the 100 scenes:
- MSB = 0
- LSB = 0
- PC = 1-100
* Please refer to the "GM-800 Scene List" for the MSB, LSB, and Program Change information for each scene.
You must transmit these messages on the Scene Rx Channel that is selected in the GM-800. You can change or view this parameter with the following procedure:
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Press the PAGE RIGHT [>] button, go to MIDI menu.
- Press the Knob [4] for MIDI, then press the Knob [1] for the MIDI SETTING menu.
- Use the [SELECT] Knob to set the Scene Rx Channel to the desired value.
