Roland Cloud offers an ongoing stream of premium sound contents, including Instrument Expansions such as renowned drum kit sounds from Drum Workshop, Inc.(DW), sounds from past flagship V-Drums modules, and sounds that were created in collaboration with other artists and more.
To use Roland Cloud content on your V71, you have two options:
- Subscribe to a membership (using the Roland Cloud Connect app for iOS/Android)
- Purchase a license (Lifetime Key) through Roland Cloud Manager on Windows/macOS.

*If you enter the Roland Cloud Activation Key printed on the "Roland Cloud Activation Card" that's included in the the V71 box, the Ultimate membership will be added to your Roland account. For details, please refer to "V71 Roland Cloud Connect Setup Guide".
**To import content downloaded using the Roland Cloud Manager App into the V71, an SD card (commercially available, sold separately) is required. The SD card must be formatted in the V71 prior to using it for the first time. For details on how to use the Roland Cloud Manager App, please refer to the “V71/V51/V31 Roland Cloud User's Guide”.
