To set different octaves for the right and left tones in split mode on the JUNO-D, use SCENE EDIT rather than the OCTAVE [DOWN] [UP] buttons on the panel.
Follow the steps below:
- Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears. - Use the value dial to select “SCENE EDIT” and press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the value dial to select “PART” and press the [ENTER] button.
- Press button [1] or [2] to select the part you want to edit.
[1]: PART 1
[2]: PART 2 - Use the [◀] [▶] buttons to select the “PITCH” tab.
- Use the [▲][▼] buttons to select either “Coarse Tune” or “Octave Shift”.
- Use the value dial to adjust the selected setting.
- Coarse Tune: change pitch in semitone steps (-12 to +12)
- Octave Shift: change pitch in octave steps (-3 to +3)
- Press the [WRITE] button to save the SCENE.
