The message "Incorrect license! Remove the license" appears when the license data for the data you are loading does not match the license data currently stored in the V71. Check whether the data you are loading is correct. Also, you can use the “Remove License” function to delete the license data already stored on your V71.
| NOTE: Performing a factory reset by checking the "Reset with User License" box in step 3-5 will also delete the Instrument Expansions installed on the V71. If you want to use Instrument Expansions after a factory reset, please reinstall them using the Roland Cloud Connect app or Roland Cloud Manager. |
Follow the steps below:
- Press the [SETUP] button.
The SETUP screen appears. -
Use the cursor buttons or the dial to select "FACTORY RESET."
The FACTORY RESET screen appears. -
Press the [F1] (REMOVE LIC) button.
The FACTORY RESET WITH USER LICENSE screen appears.
* The check box on this screen cannot be deselected. -
Press the [F6] (EXECUTE) button.
A confirmation message appears.
If you decide to cancel, select/highlight “EXIT,” and then press the [ENTER] button. -
Select “OK,” and then press the [ENTER] button.
This executes the Factory Reset. -
Press the [ENTER] button to finish the operation.
