If you want to adjust volume, swells or aftertouch without needing to adjust anything on the RD-2000's main controls, you can use an expression pedal assigned to an expression compatible parameter. This will allow you to control a given parameter with your foot.
What you'll need
- An RD-2000 running the latest System Program
OR
An RD-2000 running the EX upgrade
OR
An RD-2000 EX - An EV-5 Expression Pedal
Here's how to setup your expression pedal
- Connect your EV-5 to the EXT input.
- Press and hold [SHIFT] and move the pedal.
The PEDAL screen should show with EXT Func highlighted. - Use the parameter wheel to adjust the pedal to your chosen function.
