When the GX-10 is in Manual Mode, the [▼], [▲], and [C1] switches act as controllers for the assigned functions (either per memory or for the entire system). To switch memory while in Manual Mode, you have the following two options below.
Both methods allow you to switch memory, giving you the option to use either an external footswitch or the onboard switches, depending on your preference. This can be helpful during live performances when you need to change tones by cycling through saved presets.
Using an External Footswitch
- Connect a footswitch (FS-5U, FS-5L, FS-6, or FS-7) to the CTL 2, 3/EXP 2 jack on the rear panel.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Touch <CTL/EXP>, then <CONTROL FUNCTION>.
- Press the PAGE [>] button to navigate to the next page.
- Turn the [SELECT] knob to highlight the functions of CTL2 and CTL3, and use the [3] and [4] knobs to select "UP" and "DOWN".
Note: If you want these settings to apply to all memories, set "PREF (PREFERENCE)" to "SYSTEM".
Using the Onboard Switches
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Touch <PLAY OPTION>.
- Press the PAGE [>] button to go to page 3.
- Set "UP" or "DOWN" for "▼ & ▲" and "▲ & CTL1".
Note: When these switches are pressed simultaneously, the memory will move forward in sequence.
