The Transpose setting is a global setting that is not saved in a performance.
Instead of using the Transpose function, you can change the tuning settings for each part in your performance. If you then save the performance, the tuning settings are retained.
Specify the value of Octave and Transpose for each Part.
- Press the [PATCH/PERFORM] button so that it is lit, and select the Performance for which you want to change the setting.
- Use the cursor buttons to select the Part where you want to set the octave/transpose.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Use the cursor buttons or the value dial to select “EDIT," and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the cursor buttons or the value dial to select “PART EDIT,” and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the cursor buttons to select the “PITCH” tab.
- Move the cursor to "Octave Shift" or "Coarse Tune," then use the value dial or the [-] [+] buttons to adjust the setting.
- Press the [WRITE] button.
- Select "PERFORMANCE WRITE" to save the Performance.
