By installing the dedicated USB driver for the GX-10 on your computer, you can enable its USB audio functionality. Sending playback audio from your computer to the GX-10 allows you to mix it with your guitar sound and monitor the output directly from the GX-10.
Follow the steps below:
- Install the dedicated USB driver on your computer (Windows or Mac).
https://www.boss.info/global/support/by_product/gx-10/updates_drivers/ - Set the USB DRIVER mode of the GX-10 to “VENDOR” and connect it to your computer via USB.
[MENU] > USB > USB DRIVER > VENDOR
Note: Use a USB cable that supports data transfer. - Open the sound settings on your computer and select “GX-10” as the output device.
Note: If you do not want to apply effects to the playback audio, select “MAIN (GX-10)” (or 1, 2 on Mac). - Play audio on your computer and verify that the sound can be monitored through the PHONES jack or the OUTPUT L/MONO, R jacks on the GX-10.
