Performing a factory reset deletes all user settings stored in the E-X50, including user songs and user styles, and restores all unit settings to their factory default values.
Note: You can also reset the user settings to their factory default values by turning the power on while holding down the [EXIT] and [ENTER] buttons. However, this method does not delete user songs or user styles.
- Press the [MENU] button.
The function menu appears on the LCD screen. - Press the [<] or [>] button to select "OTHERS".
- Turn the data dial to select "Reset", then press the [ENTER] button.
The cursor moves to "Reset?" in the lower menu. - Turn the data dial clockwise.
The LCD displays "DelUSng?". - Press the [ENTER] button.
The LCD displays "DelUSty?". - Press the [ENTER] button to execute the factory reset.
To cancel, press the [EXIT] button.
When the reset is complete, the LCD will display "Reset OK!" and return to the initial screen.
Note: Do not turn off the power during the reset. This may damage the data or cause the unit to malfunction. - Press and hold the [POWER] switch to turn off the power.
