The Roland XPS-60 supports commercially available USB flash drives (sold separately) that are 32 GB or smaller and formatted as FAT or FAT32.
If you are using the drive on the XPS-60 for the first time, format it using the XPS-60 ([MENU] > UTILITY > FORMAT USB MEMORY).
Note: Formatting erases all data on the USB flash drive.
Connecting a USB flash drive to the USB MEMORY/EXT DEVICE port lets you:
- Import and play audio files (samples)
- Backup and restore data
- Import tones downloaded from Roland Cloud or exported from other instruments
- Export user tones
