On the Roland XPS-60, use SCENE EDIT rather than the OCTAVE [DOWN] [UP] buttons on the panel to set different octaves for the right and left tones in split mode.
- Select the scene you want to edit.
- Press the [MENU] button.
The MENU screen appears. - Use the value dial to select “SCENE EDIT” and press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the value dial to select “PART” and press the [ENTER] button.
- Press button [1] or [2] to select the part for which you want to change the octave.

- Use the [▲] [▼] buttons to select “Octave Shift”.
- Use the value dial to specify the Octave Shift value. (-3 - +3)
- Press the [WRITE] button to save the SCENE.
