In STEP REC mode on the JUNO-D6, JUNO-D7, and JUNO-D8, you can input notes as the recording automatically advances step by step. This mode is available for parts 1–7. The Step Length can be adjusted from 1 to 64 steps to fit your needs.
- Hold down the [SHIFT] button and press the [●] (STEP) button.
The STEP EDIT (STEP REC) screen appears.
* When the sequencer is playing back, press the [PLAY/STOP] button to stop. - Use the [▼] button to scroll to the bottom of the screen and select the "Step Length" value.
- Use the [DEC] [INC] buttons to change the value to anything from 1-64.
- Record your sequence.
There are 16 steps visible per page/screen.
- When the recorded sequence is 17 steps or greater, press and hold down the [SHIFT] button and use the [1]–[4] step buttons to switch to a different page/screen, and view beyond the first 16 steps.
