Some tones on the JUNO-D6/D7/D8 have effects on them such as the "Phonograph" effect that may be interpreted as "noise" or "static". This is intentional and there is no cause for concern.
An example can be heard on "PR-A A0037 LoFi E.Piano"
To disable the effect, do the following:
- Press and hold the [SHIFT] button.
Category buttons [2]-[6] will light up. - While continuing to press and hold [SHIFT], press category button [3](MFX) to make it unlit.
The "Phonograph" effect should turn off.
To make further adjustments, do the following:
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Select "TONE EDIT" and press the [ENTER] button.
- Select "EFFECTS" and press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the [>] button to go to the TONE MFX tab.
- Set the "Switch" to "ON" or "OFF" using the [DEC] [INC] buttons.
- Change the "Type" of effect using the [DEC] [INC] buttons.
Note: If after performing the operations above the "noise" or "static" remains, you can contact support for further troubleshooting.
