On your GO:KEYS 3 IN to which the WC-1 is connected, there may be contents installed that were purchased using a different Roland Account.
Log into the “Roland Cloud Connect” dedicated app for WC-1 using the same Roland Account that was used for the contents already installed.
If you can’t proceed with setup even after logging in using the same Roland Account that was used for the contents already installed, or if you can’t use the Roland Account that was used to purchase the contents, use Remove License to initialize the user license.
To initialize the user license, perform the steps below:
- Press the [menu] button.
The Menu screen appears. - Select “Utility” and then press the [enter] button.
The Utility Menu screen appears. - Select “Fact Reset” and then press the [enter] button.
The FACTORY RESET screen appears. -
Press the [f1] (USER) and [f2] (SYS) buttons to leave only the “Remove License” check box selected.
- Press the [f4] (EXECUTE) button.
A confirmation message appears. - Use the cursor [<] [>] buttons to select “OK”, and then press the [enter] button.
If you decide to cancel, select “Cancel” and press the [enter] button.
Never turn off the power while “Executing...” or a similar message is shown.
When the factory reset operation is finished, “Power Off, Then On.” is shown onscreen. - Turn the power of the GO:KEYS off, then on again.
