This procedure restores all factory settings on the FR-8x and FR-8xb.
NOTE: This operation resets all user data, Sets, and system settings to factory defaults. Be sure to save your settings to a USB flash drive before initializing the FR-8x. For details on how to back up your data, please refer to the FR-8x Owner’s Manual (Export/Import).
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Rotate the [DATA/ENTER] knob or use the [UP]/[DOWN] buttons to select the UTILITY function.
- Push the [DATA/ENTER] knob.
- Rotate the [DATA/ENTER] knob to select "15.12 FACTORY ALL RESET".
- Press the [MENU/WRITE] button to start initializing the FR-8x.
The following message is displayed: - To reset the FR-8x to its factory settings, rotate the [DATA/ENTER] knob to select “YES” and push it. Otherwise, select “NO” or press the [EXIT] button.
The display briefly shows a “Please Wait” message and then “Operation Complete”.
