The message “Incorrect License! Please Remove License” appears when you install Model Expansion into a V-STAGE on which tone files have been installed with a different user license. If this happens, use the Remove License function to delete the previously installed license data from the V-STAGE.
By using the Remove License function to delete the previously installed license data, both the contents and data linked to the deleted license data are also deleted and become inaccessible. To use the contents and data you’ve deleted, use Roland Cloud Manager to re-download and install the data.
You can refer to the "Initializing a user license" section of the V-STAGE Roland Cloud User’s Guide, or follow the steps below to initialize it.
- Press the [MENU] button on the V-STAGE.
- Use the [SELECT] knob to select “Utility”, and press the [SELECT] knob.
The UTILITY screen appears. - Use the [SELECT] knob to select “Remove”, and press the [SELECT] knob.
The Remove License confirmation screen appears.
If you haven’t imported or installed a Model Expansion, the Remove icon is not shown.
To cancel, select “CANCEL”. - Use the [SELECT] knob to select “OK”, and press the [SELECT] knob.
Never turn off the power or unplug the USB flash drive while a progress bar is shown in the display.
The display indicates “Completed”. - Turn off the V-STAGE.
This initializes the user license.
