Performing a factory reset will return the V-STAGE to its original factory settings.
Refer to the “Restoring the Factory Settings (Factory Reset)” section of the V-STAGE Reference Manual, or follow the steps below.
NOTE:
– If you may need to restore your current settings later, make sure to back up your data to a USB flash drive (sold separately; 32 GB or less is recommended) before proceeding. For instructions on how to back up data, refer to the “Backup” section of the V-STAGE Reference Manual.
– A factory reset does not initialize Roland Cloud licenses. If you want to install a Model Expansion using a different user license, run the procedure in the “Initializing a User License” section of the V-STAGE Roland Cloud User’s Guide.
- Press the [MENU] button.
The menu screen appears. - Turn the [SELECT] knob to select "Utility", then press the [SELECT] knob.
- Turn the [SELECT] knob to select "Reset", then press the [SELECT] knob.
A confirmation message appears. - Turn the [SELECT] knob to select “OK”.
- Press the [SELECT] knob.
This executes the factory reset. Never turn off the power while this operation is in progress. - When the following display appears, turn the power off and then on again.
