RC-1: CHANGING RECORD, STOP and DISPLAY MODES
The RC-1 has a RECORD MODE, STOP MODE and DISPLAY MODE that can be USER programmed.
Each MODE has 2 MODE selections, one is DEFAULT and another NON-DEFAULT option.
While HOLDING DOWN the PEDAL SWITCH, turn the power ON (insert a INSTRUMENT CABLE into OUTPUT A jack).
The LOOP indicator lights up with RED LED, indicating the current RECORDING MODE.
Press the pedal switch successively TWICE (within one second) to change the RECORDING MODE.
Press the pedal switch ONCE to go the next MODE CHOICE:
The LOOP LED Indicator lights up RED, indicating RECORD MODE.
The LOOP LED Indicator lights up in GREEN, indicating the current STOP MODE.
The LOOP LED Indicator lights up in RED and GREEN, indicating the current DISPLAY MODE.
AVAILABLE RECORDING MODES:
-UPPER HALF LIT: Switch in the order of recording > overdubbing > playback
(Default setting).
-LOWER HALF LIT: Switch in the order of recording > playback overdubbing
(Preferred by instrumentalists).
AVAILABLE STOP MODES:
-UPPER HALF LIT: Press the pedal switch successively twice to stop immediately (default setting).
-LOWER HALF LIT: Press the pedal switch successively twice to enable stopping at the end of the phrase; playback stops when the phrase has played to its end.
When playback stops, the phrase is ERASED.
AVAILABLE DISPLAY MODES:
-UPPER HALF LIT: in RED and GREEN - The rotational speed of the LOOP indicator reflects the length of the recorded phase (DEFAULT setting).
-LOWER HALF LIT: in RED and GREEN -
The LOOP indicator rotates rapidly and alternates with the playback location (two light segments blinking together).
Go through each MODE SELECTION and set to your preferred settings and then recycle POWER, POWER OFF then ON again.
When the power is turned OFF and ON again, the unit returns to normal operation.
