MS-3: Assigning Delay Tap Tempo to the Current Number Switch
You can use the Current Number switch (the number switch for the currently selected patch) to input tap tempo for delay time. Follow the steps below to assign this function in MEMORY mode.
- In MEMORY mode, use the number switches to select a patch (e.g., 01-1 NATURAL CLEAN).
- Press the [EDIT] button.
The effect chain screen appears. - Use the [1] knob to select "CTL", then press the [ENTER] button.
The CTL, ASSIGN & MIDI SETTING screen appears. - Use the [1]–[3] knobs to select "CURRENT NUMBER", then press the [ENTER] button.
The CURRENT NUMBER edit screen appears. - Use the [1]–[3] knobs to make the following settings:
FUNCTION: DLY TAP
MODE: MOMENTARY
ACTION: OFF ➝ ON - Use the [1] knob to select the "DELAY" block in the effect chain screen, and press the [ON/OFF] button to turn it on.
- Use the [3] knob to select a delay type that uses the TIME parameter (e.g., ANALOG, TAPE).
- Press the [EXIT] button to return to the play screen.
- While staying on the same patch, press the CURRENT NUMBER switch several times to input tap tempo.
The delay time will follow the tapped interval. - Save the patch by pressing the [EXIT] and [ENTER] buttons simultaneously > choosing "WRITE" > selecting the write destination > pressing [ENTER] twice.
