The following article troubleshoots in the event that an "Unsupported Card" message appears.
- Be sure that the CF card is compatible:

If a power supply is be used, be sure that it's a BOSS or Roland brand PSC-100, PSB-1U or PSB-120 power supply only--3rd party power supplies can cause the unit to not operate properly. If batteries are being used, try using brand new, unused batteries for troubleshooting purposes--Alkaline batteries are recommended.
- The CF card may be fragmented:

Be sure to refer to the article above for information regarding what types of cards are compatible. Note that due to the age of the product, we no longer have resources for where to acquire these cards.
- Try formatting the card:

Note that formatting the card will erase all data on the card.
