The following article troubleshoots in the event that the R-07 does not pair with a Bluetooth speaker or headphones.
- Be sure that the R-07 is setup for pairing and that the external Bluetooth speaker or headphones are selected in the R-07. These instructions can be found in the following article: R-07: Connecting Bluetooth Speakers or Headphones
This can also be found in the "Connecting Bluetooth Speakers or Headphones" section in the Reference manual: https://www.roland.com/global/products/r-07/support/ - Be sure to place the Bluetooth speaker or headphones in pairing mode before setting up the R-07. Check the manual for the speaker or headphones for instructions regarding how to put the device in pairing mode.
- No sound is output if the R-07’s volume and/or the Bluetooth headphones or speakers are down. Raise the volume of both the R-07 and the Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
- The R-07 supports codecs SBC, Qualcomm® aptX™ audio and Qualcomm®aptX™ Low Latency audio. Check the documentation of the Bluetooth device to be sure that it supports one of these codecs.
- If using batteries to power the R-07, test with brand new Alkaline batteries. Also be sure that the Bluetooth speaker or headphones are fully charged.
- Check the R-07’s “Pairing Audio” to see whether pairing data might be lost.
If the data is lost, perform the pairing operation once again. - If the Bluetooth device is too far away from the R-07, it might be unable to connect.
Place the Bluetooth device near the R-07.
