Troubleshooting Bluetooth Remote Connection Issues
- Be sure that the R-07 Bluetooth remote setup is on according to the "Making Settings on the R-07" on page 16 of the manual:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not tap the “R-07” that is shown in the Bluetooth settings of the mobile device. Instead, open the "R-07 Remote" app and the R-07 will be found automatically. If it doesn't, the message "Roland R-07 is not connected" will appear; select "Search" and then select the R-07 in the list.
- When using R-07 Remote on an Android device with Android 6.0 or later, please turn Android Location mode on and then scan for R-07.
- Try clearing the pairing data on the mobile device and then setting up again. For information regarding how to clear pairing data on the mobile device you're using, refer to the device's documentation.
- Be sure to keep R-07 within 30 feet and with a line of sight of the mobile device so that there are no obstructions. While troubleshooting, try to keep the R-07 and the mobile device close together.
- Test with brand new Alkaline batteries--even if the R-07 was being powered via USB.
- Test with a different mobile device (if available).
