The following is troubleshooting and setup information in the event the TM-6PRO does not appear as a selectable audio or MIDI device within the computer.
- Be sure that the TM-6PRO's driver has been installed onto your computer. You can download the latest driver, along with installation instructions here: TM-6PRO Drivers . (Note, for Windows 10 computers, drivers are downloaded and installed automatically after connecting the TM-6PRO to the computer's USB port and changing its USB Mode [see below]).
- Be sure to connect directly to a physical USB [2.0] port on the computer. USB hubs can cause connectivity and functionality issues.
The USB Driver Mode in the TM-6PRO must be changed to "Vendor."
1. Press MENU.
2. Cursor to "SYS," and then press ENTER.
3. Cursor to "USB Setup," and then press ENTER.
4. Press the function 1 button(DRIVER) to select the DRIVER tab.
5. Press the (+) button. A message "The modified settings will become effective after power off and restart" will appear in the display.
6. Press ENTER.
7. Turn off the TM-6PRO (using its power switch) and then power it back on again.
