SY-1000: Can I use the select switch of the GK series pickup to switch between the normal pickup sound and the synth sound?

Yes.
To switch between the normal pickup sound and the synth sound, you can make CONTROL FUNCTION or ASSIGN settings, or create separate patches for the normal pickup sound and the synth sound.

As an example, here's how to use the select switch of the GK series pickup to switch between the normal pickup sound and the synth sound.

1. Recall the patch you want to edit.
2. Press the [CTL] button.
3. Press the [1] knob (CONTROL FUNCTION).
4. Use the PAGE [<][>] buttons to move to the page that shows "GK VOLUME."
5. Turn the [4] knob to choose "ALL INST LEVEL" as the function of GK VOL.
6. Verify that you hear only the synth sound when the select switch is at "GK" and only the normal pickup sound when it is at "GUITAR."
