For optimum trigger results, it's best to match the Trigger Type with the type of pad that's connected to an input. Doing so "tells" the TD-27 what type of pad is connected and automatically optimizes the sensitivity settings for that pad. From the factory, all of the Trigger Types have already been set accordingly, however if you have added an extra pad to the kit, it's best to set the Trigger Type for it. Here's how:
1. Press the SYSTEM button.
2. Use the cursor buttons to highlight "TRIGGER," and then press the ENTER button.
3. If necessary, use the cursor buttons to highlight "BANK," and then press ENTER.
4. Hit the Pad that you want to assign the Trigger Type for.
5. Turn the dial to select the appropriate type. For example, if you have connected a PDX-100 to one of the AUX inputs, choose "PDX-100" for that input.
6. Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for any remaining pads as desired.
7 Press EXIT three times when you're finished. The new settings are saved automatically.
