The following information will help troubleshoot connection or noise issues when using the Rubix with an iOS device.
- CONNECTING HARDWARE
a. Be sure that the iOS device and Rubix are connected properly:
Note: Due to low quality manufacturing, 3rd party camera connection kits may cause issues such as noise or inconsistent connectivity. Because of this, we recommend using ONLY Apple branded camera connection kits.
b. If the problem continues, Try a different USB cable connecting the Rubix to the Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit or Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter. - iPAD VERSION
Be sure that the iPad is operating at it's latest version of iOS.
Note that the Rubix is not compatible with iOS 9 or earlier. - iPAD APP
- Be sure that the app being used is running at its own latest version.
- The iPad app that you are using must support CoreAUDIO.
You may need to contact the app/software manufacturer for this information as well as instructions for setup and troubleshooting. - POWER
Be sure that only the included Roland brand PSB-120 or PSB-1U power supply is being used--3rd party power supplies can cause the unit to not operate properly.
