The Roland TD-17 does not support the continuous brush-sweep technique, but you can get a brushed snare sound using tap-only playing.
Note: Use a nylon brush, even for tap-only playing. Metal brushes can scratch or damage the mesh head.
- Press the [ASSIGN] button and select the snare pad.
- Assign instrument "050 Brush S" to the head.
- Assign instrument "051 Brush SR" to the rim.
