TD-1KPX: In my headphones, I want to hear music being played back from my computer or iPhone together with the sound of my drum performance; how should I make connections?

Using an audio cable, connect your computer’s audio output jack (e.g., headphone jack or line out jack) or the headphone jack of your iPhone to the MIX IN jack of the TD-1KPX; you’ll hear both sounds through the headphones connected to the TD-1KPX. The type of audio cable to use depends on the type of audio jack on your computer or iPhone.

- Since the TD-1KPX’s MIX IN jack is a stereo mini type, you’ll need a cable with a stereo mini type plug at one end and the other end equipped with the appropriate type of plug for the audio output jack(s) of the connected device (e.g., stereo mini type, stereo 1/4” type, or RCA phono type). Use an audio cable that does not contain a built-in resistor.
