On the JUNO-DS61, JUNO-DS76, and JUNO-DS88, you can use a dynamic microphone. Condenser microphones are not supported, including both phantom-powered types and electret condenser types.
The MIC INPUT jack on the rear panel is an unbalanced 1/4-inch phone jack.
- Use the rear panel MIC [LEVEL] knob to adjust the input level from the microphone. Adjust it so the sound is not distorted.
- Use the top panel [MIC IN] LEVEL slider to balance the volume between the microphone and your performance.
For more detailed mic settings (such as reverb and noise suppressor), see "Making System Settings (SYSTEM)" in the JUNO-DS Owner's Manual.
