On the JUNO-DS61, JUNO-DS76, and JUNO-DS88, you can switch sounds using a Roland DP series pedal switch (e.g., DP-2, DP-10; sold separately) connected to the PEDAL CONTROL jack. Depending on which you select in step 5, PROG-UP selects the next sound (or next-numbered Performance in Performance mode), and PROG-DOWN selects the previous one.
Note: Only one direction (ascending or descending) can be assigned to the pedal at a time. If you need to switch back and forth between specific sounds during a live performance, consider assigning "FAV-UP" or "FAV-DOWN" instead, and registering those sounds to FAVORITE buttons in the order you plan to use them. Note that the pedal only switches FAVORITE settings while the FAVORITE function is on.
- Connect a pedal switch to the PEDAL CONTROL jack on the rear panel.
Note: When using the DP-10, set the switch on the side of the DP-10 to the "SWITCH" position. - Press the [MENU] button.
- Move the cursor to "SYSTEM," and press the [ENTER] button.
- Move the cursor to the tab, and use the [<] [>] buttons to switch to "PEDAL."
- For Control Pedal Assign, select "PROG-UP" to switch sounds in ascending order, or "PROG-DOWN" to switch in descending order.
- Press the [EXIT] button.
