- MIDI controller mode settings
- SYSTEM settings
- Setting of the first tone to be recalled when the tone button is pressed
- Among the settings above, the settings of "MIDI Controller Mode" and "The first Tone to be recalled when the tone button is pressed" are not applied to the JUNO-DS because no corresponding function is available on the JUNO-DS.
How to backup the user data on JUNO-Di
- A USB flash drive is required for backup.
Perform the following procedure:
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Use the cursor [▲] [▼] buttons to select “UTILITY,” and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the cursor [▲] [▼] buttons to select “BACKUP,” and press the [ENTER] button.
- The message "Backup all data?" appears. - Press the [ENTER] button to execute the backup.
How to restore the JUNO-Di backup data to JUNO-DS
IMPORTANT!: When you execute the restore operation, all user data is rewritten. If the JUNO-DS contains important data, back it up on a USB flash drive using a different name before you execute the restore operation.
Perform the following procedure:
- Connect the USB flash drive containing the JUNO-Di backup data to the JUNO-DS.
- Press the [MENU] button.
- Use the value dial or cursor buttons to select "UTILITY" and press the [ENTER] button.
- In the UTILITY screen, move the cursor to “RESTORE (JUNO-Di),” and press the [ENTER] button.
- Move the cursor to the file that you want to restore, and press the [ENTER] button.
- The confirmation message “Restore “Are you sure?”” appears. - Move the cursor to “OK,” and press the [ENTER] button.
- When the message "Complete. Please Shut down" appears, turn the power off and on again.
