RC-5: Factory Reset (Initialization)

Note: Back up any customized user data to your computer before executing a Factory Reset. Customized user data will be erased during the Factory Reset process.

From any RC-5 MEMORY LOCATION patch:

1. Press the [SETUP] button.
   The SETUP screen appears.
   
2. Turn the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to select “F.RESET,” and press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL]
   knob.
   
3. Turn the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to specify the settings that will be returned to their factory-set state.
   For example, to fully initialize the device, choose 'MEM+SYS'.
   

   Value	Explanation
   MEMORY	Memory 1–99
   SYSTEM	System settings
   MEM+SYS	Memory 1–99 and system settings

4. Press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob.
   A confirmation message “ARE YOU OK?” appears.
   * If you decide not to execute the factory reset, select “CANCEL” and press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob.
5. Turn the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob to select “OK,” and press the [MEMORY/LOOP LEVEL] knob.
   The factory reset is executed, "F.RESET EXECUTING..... " appears on the display.
   Once complete the RC-5 display should return to MEMORY 01.
