The TD-07 supports several methods for recording your performance.
Recording to a DAW
Connect the TD-07 to your computer via a commercially available USB cable to send and receive MIDI and audio signals. Select "TD-07" as the input source for the MIDI or audio track you want to record to.
Note:
- To transmit and receive audio as USB AUDIO, set USBDrv to "VENDOR," long-press the [POWER] button to turn off the TD-07, then turn it back on, and install the USB driver. No USB driver installation is required for MIDI only.
- The setting procedure may differ depending on the software. Refer to the instruction manual of the software you are using.
External audio input signals cannot be recorded directly to a computer via USB. To record audio that includes external input signals along with your performance, connect the TD-07 to an audio interface as shown in the diagram below.
Note: The audio interface and cables shown are examples. Use a commercially available audio cable that does not contain a built-in resistor.
Recording to an external recorder
Connect the OUTPUT/PHONES jack to the audio recorder's INPUT jacks using an audio cable.
Note: Use an audio cable that does not contain a built-in resistor.
