The Head/Rim ("H/R") Adjust parameter lets you balance the relation of the sensitivity between the head and rim on the pad.
If by chance the rim sound is heard when you play the head, increase this value. If the head sound is heard when you play a rim shot, decrease this value. Here's how to access and adjust the H/R Adjust parameter for a pad:
Note: This is parameter can only be utilized for pads the support rim shots.
- Press the [
] (Setup) button.
- Use the [<] [>] buttons to select “PAD,” and then press the [
] (ENTER) button.
- The "PAD" screen appears. - Use the cursor [<] [>] buttons to select “ADVANCED,” and then press [
] (ENTER).
- Use the [<] [>] buttons to select “Head/Rim Adjust.”
- Hit the pad (Snare or Tom) that you want to adjust.
- Turn the dial to change the value (0 to 80).
- Repeat Steps 5 and 6 for other pads if desired.
- Press the [
] (DRUM KIT) button when you're finished. The new settings are saved automatically.
