You can connect up to four external pads to the EXTERNAL TRIGGER INPUT 1-4 jacks of the OCTAPAD SPD-20PRO.
The jacks for external pads support dual triggers that offer a high level of expressiveness, letting you play rim shots, cymbal chokes and so on.
- Refer to the related Q&A, “Which pads does it support?” to learn about the types of pads that can be connected.
- When controlling the open/close of a hi-hat, connect the CONTROL OUT jack of the V-hi-hat or the hi-hat control pedal to the HH CTRL jack.
- V-Cymbal three-way triggering is not supported.
