If you connect a USB flash drive (sold separately) to the USB MEMORY port of the OCTAPAD SPD-20PRO, you can back up all settings (or the settings of an individual kit
that you specify) to the USB flash drive.
- Use a commercially available USB memory stick of up to 32GB.
To back up, perform the following procedure.
- Press the [SYSTEM] button.
- Use the [<] [>] buttons to select “USB MEMORY.”
- Press the [ENTER] button.
- The USB MEMORY screen appears. - Use the [<] [>] buttons to select the data you want to abck up, and press the [ENTER] button.
SaveALL: Backs-up all of the settings to the USB flash drive.
SaveKit: Backs-up the settings of the individual Kit that you specify to the USB flash drive. - (SaveKit only) Use the [–][+] buttons to select the kit that you want to save, and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the [–][+] buttons to specify the savedestination, and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Use the [<][>] buttons and the [–][+] buttons to specify a name for the backup, and then press the [ENTER] button.
- Press the [ENTER] button to save the data.
- If you decide to cancel, press the [EXIT] button.
To load the backup data, select “LoadAll” in step 4 or “LoadKit,” and press the [ENTER] button.
