The following article troubleshoots in the event that the BR-80 has a "No Card" Error Message.
- Turn off the BR-80's power and open the side panel to be sure an SD card is properly inserted.
- Try ejecting the SD card from the BR-80 and then reinserting the SD card.
- Be sure that the SD card's lock switch is pointing upward (i.e. in the unlock position).
- If using an SD different than the one included, be sure the card is compatible: MICRO BR BR-80: Secure Digital (SD) Card Compatibility Guidelines
IMPORTANT NOTE: If using a new SD card, the card must be formatted prior to using with the BR-80. Not formatting the card first can cause the BR-80 to not operate properly: MICRO BR BR-80: How to Initialize (Format) an SD Memory Card - To rule out power being an issue, test with brand new, unused Alkaline batteries for troubleshooting purposes.
