The following article contains troubleshooting information in the event that the BR-900CD has no output sound:
- If speakers are connected, be sure that their volume is up and that they are turned on.
- If headphones are being used, connect to the headphones jack
.
- Be sure that the speakers are connected to the LINE OUT red and white RCA connectors.
- Follow the setup instructions for recording in one of the following articles:
- BR-900CD: Recording a Guitar or Bass
- BR-900CD: Recording an External Stereo Instrument or Device
- BR-900CD: Recording an External Microphone - Raise the MASTER fader
.
- There should be audio in the L/R meter indicating that audio is being output to the LINE OUT and to the headphone jack:
- If there is audio in the L/R meter and no sound is heard, the issue is likely not the BR-900CD. In this case, troubleshoot the audio cables connecting the speakers to the BR-900CD, the speakers themselves, the headphones or the headphone 1/4" adapter cable (if applicable).
- If there is no audio in the L/R meter, create a new project and then go through the steps in this article again:
