GT-1000: The indicator of the EXP PEDAL SW does not turn on despite pressing the Expression Pedal.

Press the expression pedal up with your toes, and then strongly push it down with your heel.
Calibrate the pedal if the sound is not completely silent when you push down the volume pedal, or if the EXP PEDAL switch is not working.

1. Choose [MENU] -> “HARDWARE SETTING” -> “CALIBRATION.”
   - The PEDAL CALIBRATION screen appears.
2. Press the heel end of the pedal, and press the [WRITE] button.
   - The message "OK" is displayed, and then the following screen appears.
3. Press the toe end of the pedal, and press the [WRITE] button.
4. Strongly press the toe end of the pedal.
   - Verify that the PEDAL FX indicator lights when you strongly press the toe end.
5. Press the [WRITE] button.
   - The screen will indicate “COMPLETED!”

If the LED COLOR for both the ON and OFF settings of the EXP PEDAL switch is set to OFF, the indicator does not light. Check the “EXP1 SW” settings in [MENU] -> “CONTROL ASSIGN” -> “LED COLOR.”
