GT-1000, GT-1000CORE: How do I set up my DAW for re-amping?

The GT-1000 and GT-1000CORE can be used for re-amping via USB. Make the following settings in your DAW software.

Note: The GT-1000CORE settings are the same as for GT-1000 Ver. 1.20 or later.
Note: The exact screen display depends on your DAW software.

1. Record the dry sound in your DAW

   Set the input for the dry recording track as follows.

   • Windows
     Input: GT-1000 DRY
   • macOS (Ver. 1.11 or earlier)
     Input: 1/2 or 1-2
   • macOS (Ver. 1.20 or later) / GT-1000CORE
     Input: 3/4 or 3-4
      

2. Play back the dry track and re-amp

   Set the output for the dry track and the input for the re-amped (wet) track as follows.

   • Windows
     Output (dry track): GT-1000 DRY
     Input (wet track): GT-1000 MAIN
   • macOS (Ver. 1.11 or earlier)
     Output (dry track): 1/2 or 1-2
     Input (wet track): 3/4 or 3-4
   • macOS (Ver. 1.20 or later) / GT-1000CORE
     Output (dry track): 3/4 or 3-4
     Input (wet track): 1/2 or 1-2
