- Use the included hex wrench to loosen the locking screw (counterclockwise).
- Use caution, as operating the tension adjustment screw without loosening the locking screw may damage the instrument. - Use the included hex wrench to adjust the tension.
Clockwise: Increases the tension.
Counterclockwise: Decreases the tension.
- Adjust the tension without letting the tension adjustment screw come out.
- If the tension is too loose, this may make the strike points harder to detect. Increase the tension if the playing feel is not quite right.
- If there is no gap between the protrusions held together by the tension adjustment screw, you can’t increase the tension any further. Do not use overtighten—this may damage the parts. - Tighten the locking screw (clockwise) to secure the tension adjustment screw.
